Candidate Portal Terms of Use
These terms cover your use of the Candidate Portal itself. They are separate from the Recruitment Privacy Notice, which explains what personal data we collect and why.
1. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your login details secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to it.
2. What the Portal is for
The Candidate Portal lets you build a profile, upload a CV and supporting documents, browse vacancies, apply, and track your applications and any feedback we choose to share. It is not a guarantee of work, an offer of employment, or a promise that any particular vacancy will suit you.
3. What you share with us
You confirm that the information and documents you upload are accurate, and that you own them or have the right to share them with us. Please don't include other people's personal data (for example a referee's private details) unless you're authorised to.
4. Sharing with employers
When you apply for a named vacancy, or approve a submission a consultant proposes, you're confirming that your relevant profile and CV information can be shared with that specific employer for that specific vacancy. You can see this history, and withdraw a still-pending authorisation, from your Data & Privacy area. Withdrawal stops future access where we're able to; it can't undo a copy an employer has already lawfully downloaded, which is then covered by that employer's own obligations under the Employer Portal Terms of Use.
5. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the Portal: no false information, no attempting to access another candidate's data, no uploading malicious files, and no using the service for anything unlawful.
6. Your data and privacy choices
How we handle your personal data — including your rights, retention and who we share it with — is set out in full in the Recruitment Privacy Notice, which forms part of these terms by reference.
7. Suspension and closure
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, is inactive for an extended period, or where we reasonably believe it's necessary for security reasons. You can ask to close your own account at any time from your Data & Privacy area — see the Privacy Notice for what "closure" does and doesn't delete.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will show a new version number and date here, and — where legally significant — we'll ask you to re-confirm.
